The Croatian Academy has a highly developed international cooperation on several levels – bilateral cooperation with other academies and multilateral cooperation related to the participation and engagement of HAZU representatives in numerous international scientific organizations.
The Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts is an authorized institution for proposing candidates for scholarships from the Zlatko and Joyce Baloković Scholarship Fund for postgraduate studies at Harvard University. Following a proposal from the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the competent authority of Harvard University confirms the candidates, allows enrollment and determines the amount of the scholarship. The enrollment process at Harvard University is done by the candidate himself in the fall prior to the announcement of the scholarship competition.
