The Croatian Academy has a highly developed international cooperation on several levels – bilateral cooperation with other academies and multilateral cooperation related to the participation and engagement of HAZU representatives in numerous international scientific organizations.
One of the important tasks of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts is to develop international scientific cooperation.
The international cooperation of the Academy takes place on a bilateral and multilateral basis. The academy has so far signed agreements on international scientific cooperation with 26 academies from 23 countries. Bilateral agreements enable the exchange of scientists, cooperation on bilateral inter-academic projects, scientific journals and papers, organization of scientific conferences, as well as other forms of bilateral cooperation.
