Curriculum Vitae

Krešimir Veselić, a Croatian mathematician, was born in Zagreb in 1940, where he graduated in applied mathematics from the Faculty of Science in 1964. He received his master’s degree in 1968 and received his Doctorate in 1970. From 1964 he was an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics, from 1970 assistant professor, and from 1976 he was an associate professor. In the same year, he became an associate professor of the University of Dortmund, and since 1979 he has been a full professor of the University of Hagen. He dealt with the theory of linear operators with applications in quantum and classical mechanics, spectral concentration, existence of wave operators, construction of spectral theory, non-relativistic limes and matrix numerals.

He was elected as a corresponding member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in 1997.
