The Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Zagreb, Trg Nikole Šubića Zrinskog 11, announces the following

CONTEST

For one (1) scholar at the post of senior research associate in the scientific area of the humanities, field of history, at the Institute of Historical Sciences of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zadar. The working post is of permanent nature.

In addition to the terms and conditions set by the Croatian Science and Academic Education Act (Official Gazette no. 123/03; 105/04; 174/04; 2/07; 46/07; 45/09; 63/11; 94/13; 139/13; 101/14; 60/15; and 131/17), by-laws, and the Academy Regulations on Special Terms and Conditions for the Appointment to Scientific Posts, candidates ought to meet the following terms and conditions:

a) academic degree – doctor of science in the area of the humanities, field of history;

b) working experience: minimum ten years;

c) election to the post of senior research associate in the area of the humanities, field of history;

d) published scientific/professional papers in the scientific field of history, with the emphasis on the study of the Croatian history of the Early New Era, the New Era, and the Croatian Glagolitic science, as well as on the knowledge of the Croatian Glagolitic and Bosnian alphabets;

e) participation in national or international scientific symposia, and in at least one national or international scientific research project.

Enclosures to the application:

1.  Copy of doctoral degree diploma in the scientific area of the humanities, field of history;
2. Copy of decision of election to the post of senior research associate in the subject scientific field;
3. List of scientific and professional papers;
4. Proof of fulfilling the terms and conditions for the appointment to the working post pursuant to the Academy Regulations on Special Terms and Conditions for the Appointment to Scientific Posts (certificate required for every item);
5. Proof of working experience (electronic copy issued by Croatian Pension Insurance Institute);
6. Proofs for items d) and e);
7. Curriculum vitae, including data as named in Article 19, items “a” and “b” of the Regulations on the Organization of the Operation of District Councils and Central Committees (Official Gazette no. 47/17);
8. Copy of certificate of Croatian citizenship or certificate of a foreign state citizenship;
9. Copy of certificate of no criminal record, issued 6 months previously at the latest.

Foreign nationals ought to enclose the proof of the knowledge of the Croatian language (level C2) in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, and the certificate on the acknowledgement of foreign academic qualification, issued by the Agency for Science and Academic Education.
