Bone morphogenetic protein 1.3 inhibition decreases scar formation and supports cardiomyocyte survival after myocardial infarction. <em>Nature Communications<\/em>. 2022 Jan 10;13(1):81).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.info.hazu.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Bone-morphogenetic-protein-1.3-inhibition-decreases-scar-formation-and-supports-cardiomyocyte-survival-after-myocardial-infarction.pdf\">Bone morphogenetic protein 1.3 inhibition decreases scar formation and supports cardiomyocyte survival after myocardial infarction<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dobiveni rezultati ovog opse\u017enog programa istra\u017eivanja pokazali su terapeutski u\u010dinak BMP1.3 antitijela koji se sastoji od prevencije apoptoze kardiomiocita, smanjenog nakupljanja o\u017eiljkastog tkiva te o\u010duvane sr\u010dane funkcije nakon infarkta miokarda u glodavaca. Akutni infarkt miokarda jedna je od naj\u010de\u0161\u0107ih bolesti dana\u0161njice, a zasada nije ponu\u0111ena niti jedna terapijska opcija temeljena na upotrebi antitijela. Polazna to\u010dka za istra\u017eivanje bilo je otkri\u0107e povi\u0161ene razine BMP1.3 antitijela u krvi pacijenata nakon infarkta miokarda.<\/p>\n<p>Istra\u017eivanje je provedeno u okviru Znanstvenog centra izvrsnosti za reproduktivnu i regenerativnu medicinu pod vodstvom akademika Slobodana Vuki\u010devi\u0107a te je zajedni\u010dki provedeno izme\u0111u LMT i ICGEB koji je centar izvrsnosti za molekularnu kardiologiju gdje je glavni istra\u017eiva\u010d prof.
