Interested students must apply for consideration before entering the U.S. and prior to the start of their Harvard programs. Applications must be submitted to the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zagreb, which nominates a limited number of finalists each year to the Committee on General Scholarships. This scholarship is not ordinarily renewable.<\/p><hr \/><div id=\"ts-body\"><div class=\"css-52 ts-pivot-container\"><div id=\"ContentContainer\"><div role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"Pivot2-Tab0\"><div class=\"ts-lookup-pivot\"><div id=\"Lookup\" class=\"ts-pivot-lookup-component\"><div class=\"ms-Grid ts-grid\"><div class=\"ms-Grid-row\"><div class=\"ts-textfield-container \" lang=\"en\"><div class=\"ts-alignment-view-container\"><div id=\"ts-alignment-view-idtgt\" class=\"ts-alignment-view ms-font-m ts-alignment-view-tgt ts-ltr-left-zero\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-hidden=\"false\"><p>The Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, as the institution authorized to nominate candidates for the award of a scholarship from the \u201cZlatko and Joyce Balokovi\u0107 Scholarship Fund\u201d for postgraduate study at Harvard University,<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>a n o u n c e s<\/strong><\/p><p>the opportunity to apply for a scholarship, in accordance with the decision of the founders of the Zlatko and Joyce Balokovi\u0107 Scholarship Fund, for students from the Republic of Croatia in the <strong>academic year 2026\/2027<\/strong>, at any school or department of Harvard University.<\/p><p>After the nomination by the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the competent authority of Harvard University confirms the candidates, allows enrollment and determines the amount of the scholarship.<\/p><p>The enrolment procedure at Harvard University is carried out independently by the candidate.<\/p><p>Interested candidates are invited to submit an application to the Administration of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.<\/p><p><strong>The application must include the following documents in Croatian and in English:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>CV \/ r\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/li><li>Copy of the admission application to the Harvard School to which the student has applied<\/li><li>University diploma (Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree). Exceptionally, candidates who are able to provide proof that they will complete their graduate (master\u2019s) studies by June 2026 will be considered.<\/li><li>Two letters of recommendation<\/li><li>Motivation letter<\/li><li>TOEFL (or other relevant language test) score<\/li><\/ul><p>If the candidate is already enrolled at Harvard University (and is applying for a scholarship for the second year of study), proof of completion of the first year of study must be enclosed.
