In 1981, he moved to Croatia.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Between 1979 and 1991, he organized three-week courses in Inter\u00adnational Law and International Relations at the Inter-University Centre in Dubrovnik, each year alternately in English and French.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In 1984, he was <em>professeur associ\u00e9\u00a0<\/em>to l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 du\u00a0Maine (Le Mans); and\u00a0<em>in 1990 and 1993 profes\u00adseur invit\u00e9<\/em>\u00a0to: l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 de\u00a0Nan\u00adterre (Paris XIII) and l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 Panth\u00e9on-Assas (Paris II).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In 1988 and 1992, he lectured at the Helsinki Summer School of Inter\u00adnational Law.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In 1999, he lectured at the Hague Academy of International law on the topic of &#8220;Cr\u00e9ation et disparition de l&#8217;Etat (\u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re du d\u00e9membre\u00adment de trois f\u00e9d\u00e9rations multiethniques en Europe)&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In 2008 he presented postgraduate courses on various topics of inter\u00adnational law at the Silk Road Institute of International Law, Xi&#8217;an Jiaotong University in China.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In 2009, with a series of lectures during six weeks, he took part in the &#8220;Advanced Studies in International Law&#8221; in Wuhan (China) in the capacity of Expert in Residence of the Wuhan University Institute of International Law.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">He occasionally lectured at the Asser Instituut (The Hague), Leiden, and Tilburg Universities, as well as at various univer\u00adsities in the former Yugoslavia.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00a0In 1983 he was elected <em>associ\u00e9<\/em>, and since 1989 he has been full member of the\u00a0Insti\u00adtute of International Law.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Between 1991 and 1995, he was a Croatian member at the Expert Groups on Human and Mino\u00adrity Rights, and on State Succession at the International Con\u00adference on the Former Yugoslavia. Between 1996 and 2001, he was a Member of the Croa\u00adtian dele\u00adgation in the nego\u00adtiations on Succession is\u00adsues of the former Yugos\u00adlavia.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Awards: by the French Republic, dans l&#8217;Ordre des Palmes Acad\u00e9\u00admiques\u00a0<em>cheva\u00adlier<\/em>\u00a0in 1988;\u00a0<em>officier<\/em>\u00a0in 1997;\u00a0<em>comma\u00adndeur<\/em> in 2004.
