He graduated from the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, in 2007 with a thesis titled &#8220;Representation of Prime Numbers by Quadratic Forms,&#8221; and earned his PhD from the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, in 2010 with a dissertation titled &#8220;Compact Representation of Quadratic Algebraic Numbers and Integral Points on Elliptic Curves&#8221; under the supervision of Academician Andrej Dujella.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2007, he has been employed at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, initially as a teaching and research assistant. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2011, Associate Professor in 2016, Full Professor in 2021, and Full Professor with Tenure in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>His scientific fields of interest are number theory and arithmetic geometry, specifically modular curves and Galois representations associated with elliptic curves. He was a postdoctoral researcher during the 2010\/2011 academic year at Leiden University in the Netherlands. As a recipient of the Fulbright Visiting Scholar fellowship for the 2014\/2015 academic year, he conducted research at MIT, Cambridge, MA, USA.
