Graduated in art history and comparative literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb in 1982. He received his doctoral degree in 1994 with a thesis <em>Barokno kiparstvo u mramoru na podru\u010dju Dalmacije. <\/em>He trained in Italy, Germany and Austria.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div tabindex=\"0\" role=\"label\">\n<p>From 1986 to 1997 he worked as a\u00a0<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">conservator\u00a0<\/span>in Split and since then at the Institute of Art History in Zagreb as a scientific advisor in permanent employment. From 1997 to 2104 he taught <em>Umjetnost baroka<\/em> at the Department of Art History of the University of Zadar, where he was elected to the title of full professor in permanent employment. He teached at the University of Zagreb and Split.<br \/>\nAuthor of numerous books, scientific and professional papers published at home and abroad.
