Born in Osijek in 1929, where he graduated from the grammar school and then from Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, he attended a specific type postgraduate studies at the State Master Workshop for architecture by professor Drago Ibler and held at the Academy od Fine Arts in Zagreb.
