She received her Doctorate from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana (1967), and was trained abroad (United Kingdom, Germany \u2013 Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Scholarship). Since 1970 she has taught musicological subjects at the Department of Musicology and Music Journalism of the Zagreb Academy of Music; Full professor from 1984 until her retirement in 1994, from 2014 professor emeritus. She also acted as a guest professor in Austria (Graz, Vienna).\u00a0Since 1991 he has been a full member of the CASA; Secretary of the\u00a0Department\u00a0of Music and Musicology 2007-10, Head of\u00a0Division for the History of Croatian Music\u00a0from 2008 to 2010. She was president of the Croatian Musicological Society (1998\u20132001). She has published several books, more than 120 scientific and professional papers in journals at home and\u00a0abroad and\u00a0has\u00a0often\u00a0presented\u00a0at Croatian and international scientific conferences. The focus of her profession is Croatian musical heritage in the European context, within which solo song, iconography of music, baroque period, pre-classics\u00a0and moderns, on which she encouraged and realized\u00a0several\u00a0significant new insights and musical history interpretations. Main works:\u00a0books\u00a0<em>Musikinstrumente im mittelalterlichen Kroatien<\/em> (1972; published in Croatian in Rad JAZU as: <em>Muzi\u010dki instrumenti u srednjovjekovnoj Hrvatskoj<\/em>, 1969),\u00a0<em>Dora Peja\u010devi\u0107<\/em> (1982; published in German in 1987, and as bilingual Croatian-English edition in 1998 and 2008), articles: <em>Luka\u00a0Sorko\u010devi\u0107\u00a0i\u00a0njegov\u00a0doprinos\u00a0pretklasi\u010dnoj\u00a0instrumentalnoj\u00a0muzici<\/em>\u00a0(in\u00a0<em>Arti\u00a0musices<\/em> magazine, 1974) and <em>Za\u010deci nove hrvatske glazbe<\/em> (in <em>Arti Musices<\/em>, 1976).
