He has been a full member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1990.\u00a0He worked as a full professor of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Sarajevo (1985\u20132000), full professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo (since 1986), and as a designer of a number of representative buildings:<em> the National Theatre in Zenica, the White Mosque in Visoko, the Museum in Bihac, \u00a0Franciscan churches and monasteries in Tuzla and Plehan, bishops&#8217; spiritual and cultural center in Mostar, Hotel Ru\u017ea in Mostar,<\/em> etc.<\/p>\n<p>Ugljen&#8217;s\u00a0<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">architectonics\u00a0<\/span>is characterized by an exceptional authorial sensibility for the ambience, content and form with which he notably entered Bosnian-Herzegovinian architecture into the world architectural map.
